Be Not Downcast

Step back and think for a moment about your darkest hour. Think of that time when there seemed to be no hope, no healing, no redemption. It is undoubtedly true that these memories are surrounded by heartache and despondency. Perhaps you are even overwhelmed by heartache at this very moment. But do not fear, for, as His child, we know that He fights for us.
The all-powerful Beginning and End, the omnipotent Creator, the just and merciful I Am is with you now and always. Psalm 43:5 states, "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God."
Do not let your heart be broken, do not let your soul be tormented, for as a child of God who strives to live in His footsteps, we are a changed people. He lives within us, His Son died for us, and our hearts will forever be changed.
Just remember, you are a child of God, bought and paid for by the blood of the One who is blameless. Do no let your hearts be downcast for the heartache of this life is fleeting, but His Kingdom, His most glorious Kingdom absent all heartache, has been opened for you, His child. Rejoice! Be not downcast, for one day all will know His glory and one day we all shall sing His praises forever and ever.
