About

If I were to sit here and attempt to describe myself in my own words, I don't think this page would ever end. If I were to describe myself in the words of this world, you might call me a writer, I've been told I'm a thinker, some call me a daughter, some call me a sister, many call me a friend, one calls me his wife, but at the end of the day, what is the title the means the most? You may call me a Christian.

I am a believer. I know my sins are bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. I know God sent His only Son to die for me. I know that His Spirit lives within me. I believe in the Trinity, the precious Three in One. I believe that the Bible in its original form is inspired by God. I believe that there is a Heaven, and yes I believe there is Hell. I believe that I deserve to go to the latter of those two. I believe that if you love the Trinity and have given your life to God, then you are a Christian. I believe that we are to spread His love and His word to all.

I do not believe that any one denomination is better than another. I do not believe that Christians should spread hatred against those who are different. I do not believe I am any better than a non-Christian, I am merely forgiven. I do not believe that animosity is the way to spread His most holy Message.

I do believe that being a Christian means choosing a harder life. It means having to resist the temptations of this world. It means living to a higher standard. It does not mean that our lives will be easier. It means standing up for what's right no matter the cost. It means laying down our lives for our enemies. It means challenging our sinful nature. It means waking up everyday knowing the sins of our past are forgiven. It means living a different life.

At the end of the day you may call me many things. But the name that I bear with amzing grace, was a gift. By birth I am a sinner, I am a liar, a cheater, a lawbreaker, an outcast, a living testament to the horrifying nature of man. But by grace alone, I am a Christian. I choose to believe.
